A strategic focus is being placed on the growth of a blue economy which acknowledges the interconnections between healthy economies and healthy marine ecosystems. Governments, private companies, and industries are endeavouring to build the blue economy to enhance economic resilience and sustainable development in a manner that supports healthy ocean ecosystems. NEXUS has been working with clients and partners to foster the principles of a blue economy through ocean and coastal management projects.
