NEXUS has worked with government, industry, and community stakeholders on resource management  planning and resource development projects to:

• Prepare effective management plans that acknowledge the interaction and impact of human activities on the environment;
• Prepare community-based resource management plans and harvester plans that meet local needs for food security and sustainable livelihoods;
• Conduct research and analysis to support the development of plans related to management resources;
• Maintain ecosystem integrity through the consideration of environmental, social, economic, and political variables; and,
• Ensure that all resource management plans and strategies understand and mitigate against the conflicts that rise between meeting needs and protecting resources.
